Picked up a kitten
15 - I had better look at the kitten since then. His stomach is tympanic and other than the eye tissue inflammation, his nose has a few wounds. He can't balance on his hind legs. Cries piteously and incessantly, probably because he can't defecate. Very sensitive upto 6 inches in front of his face. Docile otherwise.
The guides reccoed Hekla Lava 6 (large head?) and I've given it to him in milk. In the first hour, he tried running a little. Got to wait and see. It's new moon tonight.
Rana is such an angel, licking him and being the big brother. Kitten sometimes responds, sometimes hisses.

This I hate to do but he's got the eye inflammation of distemper and was under a stone bench on a busy road. If his mama brought him up there, she has abandoned him to have another set most likely since he's about 3 months old. She probably took care of him until the last days of her pregnancy, the poor thing.
Anyway he was quite plump so if not for the disease, he'd have taken his life into his own hands by now. Anyway I waited for the guides to direct me and he tried both directions away slowly so I picked him up easily at his second attempt. No clawing or any such so he must be from the nearby hotel. I'll ask them tomorrow though I'd don't think they'd care.
The guides asked me not to isolate him but to sit with him a few hours while he's adjusting.
So far he's been adapting to the loud and noisy play of the older cats in the driveway, hissing them away from within a car chassis. Ate and drank water. Didn't like the cozy bed I made inside for him.
