The gummy eyes of distemper
The face of an animal with distemper is characteristically scabby and the eyes (esp kittens) glued shut.
Most of us are clueless and keep wiping it off just to see it spread. The guides picked a remedy that is for syphilitic origins. The surface scabs go down to the bone. They're scrofulous scabs on the face & gut. The homeopathic remedy for that is CORYDALIS formosa. Eclectics gave it in material doses but I've got 6 & 30x at home.
Absinth 6 seems to be drawn over it.
